Gentoo identifies the product currently displayed on the Product Detail Page and engages in conversations that include Q&A about the item. This enables visitors to obtain precise, context-relevant information while browsing.

In the example below, Gentoo detects the product being viewed and asks what the visitor wishes to know. When clicked, the assistant immediately explains the product’s key features, answers questions about the item, and can recommend similar alternatives.

Improved accuracy for exact-keyword recommendations

This update also refines the recommendation system so that when explicit keywords such as product names or brand names are entered, the most relevant results are reliably surfaced. Whereas suggestions previously prioritized semantically similar items based on search intent, exact keyword matches are now also considered, allowing visitors to find desired products more quickly and accurately.
